Amla, also known as Indian Gooseberry is a herb native to India and is known for its fruits with the same name. Its fruits are small, round in shape and resembling a berry. Ashwagandha root has a Latin name, ‘Withania somnifera’. It is a five foot tall deep-green leafed shrub which belongs to the Solanaceae family.
